EYUMEMA LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE (Mar. 20 - 22)
July 23 – July 26, 2026 | Chicago, Illinois (Tri-State Area)
The EYUMEMA Annual Convention is the highest gathering of EYUMEMA women worldwide and takes place every year during the last week of July. In 2026, we are excited to convene in Chicago, Illinois, hosted by the Chicago Tri-State Branch.
This convention brings together members from all 16 EYUMEMA USA branches, alongside regional members from Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, France, Equatorial Guinea, and Cameroon—making it a truly global celebration of unity, culture, and service.
Thursday – July 23
The convention opens with an Executive and Leadership Meeting in the evening, bringing together the National EXCO, Branch Presidents or Vice Presidents, and Secretary Generals.
Friday – July 24
The morning is dedicated to philanthropic outreach across the city of Chicago, including visits to nursing homes and charitable foundations.
In the evening, the much-anticipated Cultural Evening & Jamboree takes center stage—a vibrant showcase of Manyu culture. All branches will compete for top honors, followed by a grand unified cultural dance by all groups.
Saturday – July 25
Saturday features the General Assembly, the only in-person gathering of all EYUMEMA members held once a year, allowing queens across the United States to connect face-to-face, deliberate, and make collective decisions.
The evening concludes with a Fundraising Gala, supporting EYUMEMA projects such as:
Solar-powered boreholes
Hospital equipment support
Solar energy initiatives
Scholarships
Women-focused micro-projects back home
Sunday – July 26
A multi-denominational Thanksgiving Church Service will be held in the morning, hosted by the Prayer Committee.
The convention concludes with a Farewell Barbecue at a park near the airport, allowing queens, spouses, and families to reconnect, say goodbye, and depart—some traveling Sunday evening, others preparing for Monday departures.
The EYUMEMA Annual Convention is more than an event—it is a powerful moment of unity, culture, faith, and impact, held once a year for the advancement of the Manyu woman and community.
We look forward to welcoming you to Chicago in July 2026.
