EYUMEMA USA CELEBRATING A NEW EXECUTIVE
The DMV Suburban Branch proudly stands as one of the sub-branches established in the DMV area, marking a significant step in the expansion of EYUMEMA USA. What began with 11 committed women has now grown into a vibrant sisterhood of nearly 20 members, united by a shared mission of cultural preservation, empowerment, and service.
The branch is guided by dedicated leaders who embody the spirit of EYUMEMA:
President: Ma Esther Oben Arrey
Vice President: Ma Alice Ashu
Secretary-General: Ma Thérèse Takim
Their leadership ensures that the branch remains strong, inclusive, and purposeful in advancing the goals of EYUMEMA across the region.
DMV Suburban holds both Zoom and face-to-face meetings, strengthening the bonds of sisterhood while making room for every member’s participation. The branch is currently preparing for its first outreach program, scheduled for December, which will mark a milestone in extending support and impact to the broader community.
DMV Suburban continues to set an example of growth, commitment, and service for all other EYUMEMA sub-branches.
