The Eyumema USA Ohio Branch is one of the vibrant pillars of our great association, committed to upholding the mission and values of EYumema while fostering unity, cultural pride, and development. Since its formation in 2019, the Ohio Branch has grown steadily, beginning with 25 pioneering members and today proudly standing at 42 dedicated sisters. This growth reflects the determination and spirit of the women of Ohio to preserve our heritage and contribute meaningfully to the broader vision of EYumema USA, Inc.
The Ohio Branch is strategically located in one of the most culturally diverse states in the U.S., offering a unique platform for our members to celebrate and showcase the rich traditions of the Manyu people. From traditional dances and culinary arts to community events and support programs, the Ohio sisters bring the heartbeat of Ossing and Manyu to life in their communities.
The Ohio Branch has remained steadfast in promoting cultural awareness and supporting Eyumema USA’s development agenda. Our activities include:
Cultural Showcases – Organizing traditional dance performances and exhibitions to highlight our identity.
Community Support Programs – Supporting members in times of joy and challenges, ensuring no sister stands alone.
Fundraising & Contributions – Actively contributing to Eyumema USA Inc.’s national projects and initiatives aimed at improving the lives of our people back home.
Youth Engagement – Encouraging our children and young women to embrace their cultural heritage and grow into tomorrow’s leaders.
The success of the Ohio Branch is guided by a strong and dedicated leadership team:
President: Ma Hilda Agbor
Vice President: Ma Stella Elokobi
Secretary: Ma Cynthis Baiye
Together, this leadership continues to build a culture of sisterhood, accountability, and unity that empowers members to serve both locally and internationally.
The Ohio Branch remains committed to expanding its membership, strengthening its cultural programs, and contributing actively to the collective growth of Eyumema USA Inc. We welcome new sisters, partners, and supporters to join us as we preserve our values and impact lives through unity, service, and culture.
“Ohio is not just a branch—it is a family, a community, and a testament to the power of women united for a greater cause.”
