EYUMEMA USA CELEBRATING A NEW EXECUTIVE
The Project Committee of EYUMEMA USA Inc. plays a vital role in shaping the organization’s development efforts and ensuring that impactful projects are brought to life for the benefit of our members and the Manyu community at large.
The Project Committee is made up of two representatives from each of the 15 EYUMEMA USA branches, ensuring that diverse perspectives from across our network are represented in project evaluation and development.
Chairperson: Appointed by the National President of EYUMEMA USA Inc.
Secretary-General: Elected by members of the Project Committee
Co-Chairperson: Also elected by the committee members
This structure encourages both centralized leadership and democratic representation, fostering a collaborative and balanced decision-making process.
The Project Committee is charged with:
Receiving and Reviewing Project Proposals
All project ideas and proposals submitted by branches, committees, or individual members are first directed to the Project Committee for in-depth analysis.
Deliberating on Feasibility and Impact
Members assess the viability, scope, sustainability, and potential impact of each proposal. This includes evaluating alignment with EYUMEMA USA’s mission, strategic priorities, and available resources.
Making Recommendations to the National Executive Committee (NEC)
After a thorough review, vetted proposals are submitted to the National Executive Committee (NEC) for further deliberation.
Approval by the National Escrow
Final decisions on funding and implementation are made by the National Escrow, ensuring organizational oversight and fiscal responsibility.
