EYUMEMA USA CELEBRATING A NEW EXECUTIVE
The Houston Central Sub-Branch of EYUMEMA USA, Inc. was created through the official multiplication of the Greater Houston Chapter, a process designed to strengthen leadership opportunities and simplify management within our growing association. Since its establishment, Houston Central has stood as a symbol of unity, culture, and empowerment, advancing the mission of EYUMEMA to uplift women and the girl child while preserving our cherished Manyu heritage.
Located in the heart of the Houston metropolitan area, one of the most vibrant, diverse, and fastest-growing regions in the United States, Houston Central is strategically positioned to engage members across communities. The branch actively promotes cultural pride, volunteerism, and sisterhood, while organizing programs that empower women and girls through education, mentorship, and community service. It is both a cultural home and a service hub for members and the wider community.
The Houston Central Sub-Branch is guided by a dedicated leadership team, comprising Ma. Margaret Equopi Bate (President), Ma. Bessem Monikang (Vice President), and Ma Verna Bissong (Secretary-General). Together, they work to strengthen member bonds, champion women’s leadership, and extend EYUMEMA’s impact across Houston and beyond. With dedication to service and cultural solidarity, Houston Central continues to thrive as an essential part of the EYUMEMA family.
